World leaders adopted global goals aimed at eradicating poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity. Each one has specific targets to be achieved in a 2030 Agenda. In total, they are seventeen: no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, clear water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation and infrastructure, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life below water, life on land, peace, justice and strong institutions, partnership for the goals. To achieve the SDGs, we must all do our part, including governments, the private sector and civil society. Governance in the 2030 Agenda establishes three functional levels articulated with mechanisms enabled to ensure their interrelation and executive capacity to work.
