REMOTE INTERPRETATION

In RSI (Remote Simultaneous Interpretation), the presenter speaks while his image and voice are transmitted to the interpreter through a videoconference platform. The interpreter sees and hears the speaker through the platform. He does this in a different location from that of the presenter and listeners. Attendees connect via videoconference to see the presenter while listening to the interpretation in the language of their choice. The event’s participants connect to the venue from different locations. Some of the platforms used by Roberto León for RSI are: Zoom, WebEx, Teams, Meet, GoToMeeting. In addition, Roberto is accredited with the main remote videoconference platforms used by major organizations such as the European Union and the United Nations.
